In Key Stage 4, students continue to follow the pathway model, with a growing focus on independence and thinking about the future.

Students work towards accreditation that reflects their individual needs and abilities, ensuring their achievements are recognised and valued. They also take part in work-related learning, including enterprise activities and opportunities within our community café.

All pupils access independent travel training (ITT) at a level appropriate to them, helping them to develop confidence and independence when out in the community. Learning is further supported through visits and off-site activities, giving pupils the chance to apply their skills in different settings and contexts.

Students are supported to explore their interests and begin to make decisions about their next steps, including Post-16 education. Enrichment opportunities continue, including swimming and the option to participate in Scouts.
