£1300 for School Project!!

Thank you to Cllr Jim Snee and several fellow councillors at West Lindsey District Council (WLDC) who have accessed the Councillor Initiative Fund and secured a contribution of £1300 towards purchasing materials for an exciting project. We will be creating an accessible Wildlife Garden for birdwatching and outdoor activities; this includes a polytunnel, mindfulness area and firepit for outdoor cooking.

We will be working with John Lyden from Greener Gainsborough and students from Trent Valley Academy to develop an extensive area to be used by the school and local community groups. This forms part of our Employability and Work Experience programme and students throughout the school will be involved.
