As part of our commitment to and involvement with the local, national and international community we will be participating in a number of charity fundraising events and Awareness Days. Details of each event will be sent out closer to the date; however, in order that you may plan ahead I have included some dates for your diaries.

 

11^th October – Young Minds (World Mental Health Day) awareness - dress in Yellow

30^th October – Halloween Family Disco

November/December – Homelessness Appeal

11^th November – Remembrance Day, Dress like a Poppy Day, Royal British Legion fundraising

15^th November – Children in Need Day

7^th February – Number Day, fundraising for NSPCC (Students can donate to wear number themed clothing)

26^th March - Wear A Hat Day (Brain Tumour Awareness)

 

Please note: We are no longer able to accept into school cheques or online payments for these charitable fundraising days. Links to charity payment pages will be given for each event.

 

In addition to these very important charity events, we will also be hosting and running fundraising activities for our school community. Dates for our popular Fayres are:

13^th December – Christmas Fayre

28^th March – Easter Fayre

18^th July – Summer Fayre

 

As always, we will be using each fundraising activity as a teaching opportunity so that our students can learn about the social and moral issues people across the world face, how the money we raise can help benefit them and identify our place in the worldwide community.   Although fundraising for these charities is vital for the people and families they support please remember to look after your family first, donate wisely.
